My name is Martin Yordanov Stavrev and I am 17 yers old. My contribution to the website is the Flash version and the building of the 3D model of the castle. I study in the ELMS in Vidin in 11th grade. Some of my hobies are playing, recording and editing music in home conditions and some rare concert events with a musical group I play with.I also enjoy developing my skills in the field of the webdesign and 3D animation or I like drawing comix. I sport oftenly and most actively I go play hek, skate or click on the mouse of my PC:-) Just from an amateur point of view I am interested in meditation...after all the inner peace is the most important:-) I have been using computers for a very long time. I have started with PC games, then I tried programming but did not have much of a success. Until now I have studied most of the computer programmes that are using the Windows operating system. I started using Internet a few years ago and I am in the field of webdesign from an year and a half. What has always attracted me are arts and I think that webdesigning is just one of the ways for expression. The last programmes that I have studied or am still studying are connected with webdesign and 3D animation and graphics.
I want to continue working with computers in the future, and this includes all kinds of animating and design as well as music editing. I think that computers are an area where one can develop and have a great space for expression, not only for the practical use but for studying also.
For the making of this website a few galons of coffee were needed, different kind of music for inspiration and strong nerves. My main inspiration is the castle itself as a symbol of the bulgarian spirit (I am an nationalist by soul). It was definitely hard to make the website but the aim justifies the means. Not only did I develop my skills but more people will be informed about Bulgarian history and even people from foreign countries will feel the vibe of the Bulgarian spirit.
There are about thousand people I would like to thank but there will not be enough space on the website and I will talk shortly. First of all, I would like to thank the people that were directly involved in the creation of the website - my mother for all the advices that she gave me about the design. I also would like to thank her for the information and the pictures she helped us gather. I thank my father for the help with the scripts and the picture editing, these were really important advices you gave me. Many thanks about the support from all of my relatives, about the compromises some of my teachers made, and thanks to the friends that kept asking "how things are going". Ofcourse, a lot of respect and kisses to Poli, my girlfriend - she was my engine that kept me going on the hard road to success with this website - I love ya:-) Credits to all the groups that kept playing in my headphones during the long hours in front of the PC. I do not want to advertise the following but there is no way I could miss them - Faith No More, Deftones, Bob Marley, Portishead, Massive Attack and the great amounts of soft jazz that were a part of my inspiration. At the end I would like to thank all of the visitors of our website for your attention and I sincerely hope that we have done our job to please you. I wish you pleasant minutes with the castle "Baba Vida":-)

My name is Vladimir Yordanov Vassilev and I am 17, I've built the HTML version of the site. I study in ELMS - Vidin in 11-th A class. My hobbies are jogging, swimming, bicycling, bodybuilding, basketball, surfing the Internet, building websites and working on computer in general. I like tourism and I climb the mountains (Rila, Pirin, Rodope ...) every summer. I play on a guitar (acoustic and a little - bass). Since 1994 I am interested in computers, as well as business and economy (I've learned this by the economic strategies). I am the webmaster of two other sites - the first one is about Vidin and the other one is full of game pics, wallpapers and cheats. I've studied Turbo Pascal, Visual C++ & Basic, but I haven't used much this knoledge. I work with PowerPoint, Word and Excell without any problems and I can say that I've mastered the last two of these (almost) perfectly. I'd like to study Programming and IT, tourism or economy and management - only time will show where am I to continue my education. My inspiration for building the site was the fact that "Baba Vida" is the only fully preserved castle from the Middle ages. My motivation was to build the first site for the stronghold containig all the available information about it + many photographs and a 3-dimension view, by which one can go around the fortress and almost touch it, feeling its magic.
I want to give special thanks to our leader Mrs. Villy Nikolova, who was all the time by us directing and supporting us, without doing our job. I want to say "Thank you" to her husband, Mr. Lyubomir Georgiev, who helped us with the translation! I want to thank all the teachers, who made us no trouble for the absences during this whole period of sleepless days and nights and staring at the monitors in the computer room at school.
Thank you, mom, for supporting me, when I was to give up; thank you, dad, for commenting my work not as a father, but as a visitor of the site; thank you, brothers and sister, for not bothering me too much but even helping; thank you, all friends and relatives and visitors of the site, for visiting it ;-)
